Collection of Shards: A Revealing Installation
On the occasion of the Éclats exhibition, presented in Geneva in January 2025, Collection of Shards unfolds as a new installation within an artistic activation in a hotel setting, establishing a dialogue with other perspectives and creative gestures.

Located in the recess of a large bay window, Collection of Shards appears as an intimate showcase of rediscovered objects. Frames and prints blend seamlessly into the hushed atmosphere of the hotel, nestled among marble tables and trestles, with a painter's easel — a hallmark of the artist — standing nearby.

These mountain fragments, returned to the city after a spring spent at altitude for another opening in Verbier, are given a second breath here. Camouflaged within the decor, they stand out through their monochrome tones and silver frames, evoking irreducible shards — pieces of summits that refuse to fade into oblivion.

Like miniature glaciers placed in a warm space, these elements silently recall the slow disappearance of cold and the enduring presence of memory.
